Gill Foundation Day Regatta 2016

I'm a bit late with this as the regatta took place over the weekend of the 12th and 13th March, I have a bad habit of just covering some of the international events that some of these youngsters participate in, but there are a lot more local events/regattas going on that many more of our great Maltese young sailors race in and they deserve more than a mention - even though it's just through my little  old blog! One has to also mention the support of the sponsors without whom these events could not take place.
The GILL Foundation Day Regatta took place at the Young Sailor's Club in St. Paul's Bay. Wind conditions were frustrating on the Saturday but Sunday brought moderate to strong wind making for some excellent racing.
