Update on Maltese Optimist Sailors Competing Abroad

After three days racing our Maltese duo are doing very well. Craig Farrugia Vella has had two first positions pushing him up to an overall 6th placing after 3 days racing.
Katryna Esposito is lying in 12th position overall - overall meaning mixed classes boys and girls. In the female class she is in 2nd position. Her best results over the line have been a 6th and two 7th placings. They have been having some intensive training in Greece and their hard work is starting to pay off.

Meanwhile in Lago di Garda the Schultheis siblings together with Michael Amadori have started competing in the Simone Lombardi Trophy regatta. Results after the first day are very good with Richard Schultheis lying in 1st place within the Cadet class. Victoria Schultheis is presently 8th overall and 2nd female and Antonia Schultheis is 67th overall and 21st female. Michael Amadori is also racing well and lies in 13th place.
