Strong winds off West Greece and South Italy brought some big sea onto the Maltese shoreline. Yesterday parts of the island experienced mini tornadoes which caused some damage, including turning over a couple of small private aircraft. Today we woke up to clear sunny skies, no wind but big waves. Below are just a few shots taken along the Coast Road.
Both reefs in Mellieha breaking nicely and even the Sikka l-Bajda was breaking occasionally and that is about a mile out!
Ghallis - where we normally windsurf in a NW'ly. Difficult to launch for board surfers today.
