What Better Setting for a Dinner?

Pic by: Jane Berger Location: Off the small Island of Comino (Maltese Islands)

Last week we went out for a swim on the boat (Drascombe Coaster) and anchored to have our salad supper just near this arch on the Comino Channel side of Comino. What better backdrop can you ask for to have a sunset supper?

Fuerteventura PWA Grand Slam - Part 5

As usual Fuerte has lived up to its strong wind name and created some great conditions for the PWA events.

I Need To Blog

I apologise to all my 'die hard' followers of this blog that my blogging has been so erratic and uneventful over the past few months - unfortunately it has been a bit difficult for me to get back into my avid blogging recently............but I want that to change . I have got a few very interesting items to blog so I hope to get those up soon.

So please don't abandon me! Keep your eyes on my posts and hopefully there will be something worth reading or pics worth looking at soon.

Fanatic Board for Sale

Tommy has a 2005 Fanatic Formula board for sale - like the one shown in pic above (taken from Boardseeker Magazine). It is a great board to sail, very stable and terrific for summer breezes. Tommy is selling cos he wants to try to buy some kiting kit for those marginal days.
The board comes with two fins and his asking price is Euro350.

Also for sale is an Arrows Craze 7.5m sail which comes with a Mistral mast Euro150.

If interested contact me thru my blog.

Using the Boat at Last!

Finally went out on the boat - Drascombe Coaster - late yesterday afternoon for the evening. We didn't sail but motored as very little wind, but we had a great time. Just pottered about in and out of bays enjoying the pure relaxation of it all. We then had a nice swim in the cove opposite St. Paul's Island and had our bit of supper in another little cove further inside Mellieha Bay. Peaceful, quiet and on the water! What more do you want?
Anton has organised a roller reefer on the light wind chute so that will be handy when we do some sailing.
You can view the short movie I made earlier in the year further down on the blog under the ''Sailing'' listing or else on Youtube http://www.youtube.com/user/Bunty61#play/all/uploads-all/1/9rNGNbo1UG8

Fanatic Do Well in Lanazarote...........and Join Hands with Club Mistral!

Gollito in action on the reef in Lanzarote - pic taken from Fanatic website

Fanatic have done pretty well overall in Lanzarote. You can view the full report on http://www.fanatic.com/public/content/e533/e534/e7274/e7895/e7896/index_eng.html

Some really good pics on the page too.

Also it's interesting to read that Club Mistral are now going to be supplying their guests with both Mistral and Fanatic boards which is quite an interesting move.

More news is that Fanatic now have their very own SUP. That is something I would quite like to try - but they are so expensive!!

Meanwhile here in Malta - zero wind!
